We have such an abudance of wild strawberries here on the farm. These little stawberries pack a punch for their size!!  As is the case with most wild foods, the nutritional potency is incredible and their cultivated counterparts can't compete! These strawberries are sweet and tart and oh so yummy. Most don't make it into our collection bowl hehe. One hot day we were gathering several different herbs and more wild strawberries, we came in for a break from the sun and everyone was so thirsty. We had just picked some beautiful lemon balm as well, so we made Wild Strawberry Lemon Balm Lemonade and it was a hit! Perfect way to cool off on a hot day and incorpoate beautiful medicinals. Calm that nervous system with this refreshing treat :)
