We had a chilly morning the other day. While I was curled up by the wood stove, taking in everything about these favorite kinds of mornings, including the smell the wood stove brings, I started thinking about whole house steams. You guys know I'm a huge fan of herbal steams, especially for colds and allergies. I thought, what would compliment the warm comforting smell of the wood stove, while also bringing much needed humidity over the winter and ALSO support our respiratory tract and immune system. We have a beautiful cast iron kettle on the wood stove to fill with water as a humidifier, bur what if it could be more. And even if you don't have a wood stove, this can easily be done on the stove top. An herbal steam for your home, to benefit everyone in the family. To stay well, and fill the home with a beautiful aroma.
