Drawing Salve is a must here in the summer. I'd love to say it's because of my kids, but I'm not the most graceful person either it has saved the day so many times.

Our yard is full of wildflowers. We try to hold off on mowing as much as we can so we always have an abundance of flowers (think flowers not weeds ) but sometimes unlucky strikes and you step on a bee (and I used to be a beekeeper and have had my fair share of stings but it still hurts 😆)

The other day, my son got stung on his foot, we pulled out the stinger and immediately put Drawing Salve on it, covered with a bandaid and he relaxed on the couch for an hour while I finished harvesting herbs and veggies. An hour later I checked on it and you couldnt even see where he got stung and he couldnt even feel it (if it wasnt for the bandaid he wouldn't have been able to even tell me what foot it was ). When looking at the bandaid with the drawing Salve you could literally see where the venom was drawn out. You could see the clear liquid surrounded by drawing salve. It doesnt always work that fast, and every ailment will pose different challenges and time frames but it always blows me away. That's just one of the million things we use it for here's some more info on it, now excuse me while I go attend a bee funeral

Drawing salves have traditionally been used for many things, from drawing out splinters to thorns, toxins from insect/spider bites, ingrown hairs, infection from boils or pimples to soothing skin irritations like poison ivy. Basically, if it doesn't belong in your skin, Drawing Salve can help. This is an old time successful remedy, most commonly found in Amish communities.

Ingredients: Organic Sunflower o infused with Organic Comfrey, Organic Plantain, Organic Goldenseal, Organic Chickweed, Organic Calendula, Raw Shea butter, local Beeswax, Local Raw Honey, Activated Charcoal, Bentonite Clay, Kaolin Clay.

Comfrey and Plantain are well known for their wound healing abilities. Calendula for its soothing properties. Chickweed for inflammation providing relief for hot and dry skin. Goldenseal has been proven to have antibiotic properties as well as being an antiseptic and also helps with the drawing and drying process. Both the Charcoal and Clays draw out the toxins/objects from the skin. Shea butter also helps reduce infections and soothes the skin. The Olive oil is a very healing nourishing oil. Beeswax helps thicken and bind, which in turn helps the application process. Raw Honey is well known for its antibacterial properties and the Vitamin E oil acts as a preservative giving this salve a shelf life of 1 year.

This salve is for external use only. Apply to affected area and cover with a bandaid. Allow to remain on the skin until the infection or object has been drawn out. Reapply if necessary. Drawing Salve helps get the blood moving and softens the skin. It allows pus to build around the area and if used consistently will help push the infection and or object out of the skin. No
